Australian Sprintcar Champion, Lachlan McHugh, is gearing up to compete in the upcoming Cush Clothing Queensland Late Model Title and Hancey’s Turf Australian Title at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway. His entry into these prestigious events adds even more excitement to an already impressive field of 42 drivers from across Australia and beyond, including American racer Pierce McCarter.
The action-packed schedule kicks off with the Queensland Title on Wednesday, April 24th, followed by the Australian Title on Friday and Saturday, April 26th and 27th respectively. Fans can expect thrilling races as drivers battle it out for top honors on the track.
McHugh will be behind the wheel of the V71 Longhorn owned by Domain Ramsey, with his father Jamie – a former Super Sedan National Champion – serving as crew chief. Joining them is Sydney Late Model car owner Des Disney, forming a formidable team ready to take on the competition.
Tickets for all three nights are now available for purchase and are selling fast. The final night promises to be a spectacular event featuring not only the Australian Title race but also other exciting attractions such as State of Origin QLD vs NSW Demo Derby, Super Rooster V8 Dirt Modified Champion of Champions, Toowoomba Steering & Suspension Smackdown Series for Modified Sedans, Queensland Title for AMCA Nationals, and an awe-inspiring fireworks display.
