Sprintcars Queensland Announces 2024/25 Racing Calendar

Exciting news for all Sprintcar racing enthusiasts as Sprintcars Queensland unveils its highly anticipated calendar for the upcoming 2024/25 season. With a total of 24 action-packed nights of racing scheduled, fans can expect thrills and adrenaline-pumping moments throughout the season.


The Pro Sprintcars division takes center stage with a thrilling 16-night calendar that includes standalone events for the first time ever. The season kicks off in Gladstone on September 21, strategically positioned between two major events – Chariots of Thunder in Darwin and Toowoomba’s Thunder on the Downs. Thunder on the Downs will feature dual $10,000 to win shows on September 27 & 28, setting the stage for an electrifying start to the season.

The Ultimate Sprintcar Championship fires up in Toowoomba on October 5, followed by races on November 2, November 30, February 22 (Ultimate Pink Night), March 8, and culminating with the Ultimate Grand Final at Hi-Tec Toowoomba Speedway on April 12. The Red Hot Summer Shootout returns with a massive payout over three days from January 10-12.

Key highlights include the Sprintcars Queensland Title at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway on March 29 and the Pro Sprintcars Queensland Title at Maryborough Speedway on December 14 as a standalone event. Lismore will witness three exciting Sprintcar events throughout the season – November 16, January midweek money event on January 8 and March 1.

To add more excitement during Christmas, Sprintcars Queensland introduces the Queensland Summer Speedweek Series featuring four rounds across three different tracks starting from Boxing Day at Toowoomba Speedway. This series promises an alternative format with multiple heat races and a dash offering substantial prize money.

Adding to the thrill is Kingaroy Speedway hosting both Sprintcars and Pro Sprintcars for the first time in years on February . Prior to this event, Rockhampton Speedway will host a standalone Pro Sprintcars event on February .

The Harbour City Classic at McCosker Gladstone Speedway is set to captivate fans over Easter weekend (April ). Following this is another standalone event for Pro Springtcars at Carina Speedway over May long weekend (May ).

As we approach towards closure of an exhilarating season, Bundaberg welcomes back Sprintcar action after many seasons with a promising two-day event showcasing Pro Sprintcar popularity followed by wrapping up at Maryborough Speedway on May 17.
